Broadcrown South Africa (Pty) Ltd is a new and exciting business venture intended to take full advantage of the opportunities generated by the current electricity crisis hitting the country. Broadcrown has recently opened these new offices and warehouse facilities in South Africa, with the intention of supplying a mixed range of generators tailored to meet the standby power requirements of all business sectors.

The entire new enterprise is to be managed and coordinated by our newly appointed Regional Sales Manager Mr. Greg Voss. Greg will be joining forces with a number of the countries established distributors, together with other new regional and nationwide partners in order to provide the very best possible service and so maximize success.

As a power crisis loomed with Eskom (utility supplier) announcing load shedding across the whole of the country; it was decided that Broadcrown would use the Cape Town International Convention Centre Exhibition (CTICC), held from 28 May to 30 May, as a platform in which to announce our arrival as a major player in the South African power generation market.

Two generators were displayed at the three-day exhibition; a BCJD 44-50 with acoustic canopy and a BCJD 275-50 open set. Both generators were very well received and created a substantial amount of interest with consequent highly promising business opportunities.

At an after show buffet it was announced that the Broadcrown Stand had won a framed certificate for the best medium sized shell stand, an excellent start to a bright new future in South Africa.
